Another delay - Zev, The Alien Detective
I know it has been several weeks. Working on this project takes up a lot of my time.
Our production team (Um Gato Productions)has been working on making the game, Concepts and the document for the game.
I shall be making a post for the Game Concept Document, and some pictures of the game.
We have mostly been working on the game itself, so far we have managed to make a Free Roam cursor, an Executable for the game and the controller, which has changed. Instead of a glove with IR reflective tape, we are using an IR emmiting headset which pictures shall soon follow.

Again… I’m sorry for the delay.
OK, here is the quick track of what has happened in the past few monthsSince October we have been working on our group projects which last throughout the year
Our Group (Um Gato Productions) consists of four people; Myself, Patrick Mead, Graham Hogg and Stuart Sanders
We have come up with the game title of “Zev, The Alien Detective” The game will be future based, but with a 1960’s look and feel to it. The main character (Zev) will be solving crimes and mysteries throughout the day and night, but he has an unforgetable past. His wife was murdered and the killer never caught. Zev takes it upon himself to find justice for his wifes death.
For the game we are using new technology. One which i am not going to mention in this post, but shall in a later one.

I have chosen not to reveal much. but i will say that we shall be using a UT3 engine and glove pie.
Anyway, I have been working on some Concept designs and I will upload them shortly.

Back to University! Day 1
Despite the fact that the class did not start until 1pm I was still not awake until 12.15, Oh well…
Back to virtools today, not a big fan. But even though the computers in this room are MACs They stil seem pretty nice. Especially seeing as though they have Windows XP on a dual boot.
I should probably get back to the class….. I will update more later.
